Terms of Website use

This tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our website www.greenchildofmine.com, whether as a guest or a registered user. Please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use the site. By using our website, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our website.

Ordering

Order Online

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All of our products can be viewed and ordered via our secure online shop. Once you have selected the products you wish to purchase simply follow the online instructions. All payments are processed on a secure server offering a high level of security. We will send you notification of your order by email.

Order by post

Please make cheques payable to Lisa Schofield. Send details of the item name, size, colour and total cost (including P&P and cost for gift wrapping if needed). Please supply your full contact details - including phone number in case there is a problem with the order. Send these details with payment for the full amount. If you require gift wrapping and/or a message service included, please tell us this information also with the address you would like it posted to. Cheques: Please make cheques payable to Lisa Schofield - writing your home address, cheque card number and expiry date on the back. Goods will be dispatched once funds have been cleared by our bank. Please include your telephone number in case we need to contact you.

All prices are quoted inclusive of VAT, charged at the applicable rate.

By placing an order through our website, you warrant that: (a) You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; (b) You are at least 18 years old.

Confirmation

When confirmation of an order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing if we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Stock Availability

We aim to process most orders from stock. We do our best to have available stock at all times, however there are times when demand can surpass supply. If we have sold out of an item we will always endeavour to adjust the website to let you know that the product will soon be back in stock. If an item is not in stock we will either telephone or email you within 48 hours to let you know. You will have the choice to either re-order a different product, wait until new stocks arrive or cancel the order entirely, no questions asked. Please allow up to 14 days for new deliveries to arrive and then be dispatched.

Starchild shoes

Our range of Starchild shoes can be ordered even if they are out of stock as they are handmade to order. In this event please allow a minimum of 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Orders will normally be dispatched within 48 hours of receipt and payment of an order, subject to stock availability. Delivery should take between 3-5 working days from payment. However, on rare occasions some items may take 7-10 days to arrive, on these occasions we will endeavour to contact you to let you know. Please allow at least 10 working days for all orders where payment is made by cheque.

Delivery Charges

We charge a flat rate delivery charge of £2.95 to the U.K unless otherwise stated on the individual product descriptions. E.U delivery is £4.95 and Worldwide delivery is £6.95.

Trade Descriptions & Accuracy of Content

We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. Packaging may vary from that shown. The weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only.

We make every effort to ensure that the photography used on our site is accurate. However, slight variations in colour and size may occur from time to time. Many of the organic cotton clothes and cotton clothing fabric is screen printed by hand and therefore colours and print are likely to vary a little.

Returns Policy

We hope you will be very happy with any product purchased on our website. If you are not 100% happy we will replace the item or offer a refund. We will replace or refund all returns notified in writing to us within 7 days from receipt of the goods. We can be notified via email at customerservice@greenchildofmine.com with the reason for the return. Returns should be made within a reasonable time, usually 28 days.

Returning Goods

When returning goods we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit, so please either insure all returns for the full value of the contents, obtain a 'Proof of Postage Certificate' from your Post Office, or use registered post to ensure safe delivery. The items must be returned in the same condition in which you received them, in a re-saleable condition in their packaging, with labels still attached. They must also be returned at your own cost and risk unless faulty. The cost to dispatch the original order is not refundable.

Refund

Please provide proof of purchase to obtain a refund.

Once we have received and verified the returned item we will initiate the refund, replacement or exchange. Please allow two working days from receipt of a return for us to process a refund. Once a refund is processed you will receive an email confirming this, (the email will be sent to the same email address as your order confirmation email was sent). After receiving this confirmation email allow a further 7-10 working days for a refund to be credited to your account. Credit card transactions can only be refunded to the original card used at the time of purchase. If this is not possible due to expiration or loss of card, a cheque will be posted out to the billing address.

Sale Items

If you purchased a sale item, then you will only be refunded the sale price. If an item has been placed on sale since your purchase we will refund the full amount in accordance with your receipt. Without a receipt we will issue a credit note to the value of the sale price.

Faulty

In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged or faulty we will strive to provide you with a replacement product as quickly as we can, or a refund for the full price of the goods. Please note that postage and packing is not refunded for items that are unsuitable or unwanted.

Exchange

Don’t forget to list what replacement item you would like, and any additional payment if you want a more expensive item. Letting us know the reason for your exchange will help us to spot any potential problems.
We will not exchange or refund any worn or washed item unless it is faulty.

Access to our website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our website without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Our liability in connection with any product purchased through our website is strictly limited to the purchase price of that product.

We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

Green Child Of Mine is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not disclose buyers' information to any third parties. We do not use or disclose information about your individual visits to our website or information that you may give us, such as your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number to any outside companies. Cookies are used on this site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item. They are also used to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and for your details if you select the "Remember Me" option.

Credit Card Security

All credit and debit card payments are made through a safe and secure Payment Gateway provided by PayPal. PayPal are one of the leading Payment Processing Service Providers on the internet and have an excellent reputation. Please note you do not need a PayPal account to make credit and debit card payments through PayPal. All financial details (i.e. credit/debit card numbers) are handled by PayPal, and such details are not stored by Green Child of Mine.
